School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Pittsfield, Massachusetts

Working consistently 32 hours each week from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch), youll play a vital role throughout the school day.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Active LPN license (or LVN, per state regulations)
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric environment preferred
• Proficiency with medical care for high school-age students
• Comfort and experience with tube feeding, including performing tube flushes and addressing possible blowouts
• Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with students, school staff, and families
• High degree of responsibility, reliability, and organization

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct 1:1 care to a high school female student, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the school day
• Administer tube feedings as needed, managing and documenting care accurately
• Respond quickly and effectively to any medical needs, including tube flushes and blowouts
• Maintain open communication with staff and family to update on student progress and concerns
• Uphold privacy standards and adhere to school health protocols at all times
