School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Snellville, Georgia

Step into a rewarding contract position supporting student health as an LPN in a school environment in the Snellville area. In this role, youll work closely with one student, providing essential care and support throughout the school dayincluding riding the bus to and from school. Youll be an integral part of the educational team, playing a key part in fostering a safe and healthy learning atmosphere.

Desired Qualities & Experience:

• Current, active GA LPN license
• Experience working 1:1 with students or in a school setting is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with students, families, and staff
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment
• Compassion, patience, and commitment to student care
• Able to perform duties in-person and ride the school bus as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct 1:1 nursing care to the assigned student throughout the school day
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Monitor and document the students health status and respond promptly to changes
• Communicate effectively with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals
• Support the students participation in school activities, including bus transportation

This is a full-time, in-person contractual position starting as soon as possible through late May 2027, providing a stable commitment and the chance to positively impact a student's educational journey.
