School LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) - Spring Grove, Pennsylvania

Step into a vital role supporting student health and well-being at an elementary school for the remainder of the 2026-2027 school year. This contract position is based on-site, providing 35 hours per week during standard school hours (8:00am 3:30pm, Monday through Friday).

Leverage your expertise as an LPN/LVN by collaborating with the school nurse to address daily health office responsibilities and offer direct medical support to students. Flexibility is key, as youll also serve as a substitute PCA/1:1 support for two students when coverage is neededincluding assisting with diabetic care alongside the nurse.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current, active LPN or LVN license
• Minimum of 1 year of prior experience in a school setting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Capacity for adaptability in a fast-paced educational environment
• Confidence in supporting elementary-aged students with diverse medical needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the school nurse to deliver comprehensive medical care to students
• Administer medication, manage first aid, and track health office documentation
• Provide substitute 1:1 medical and personal care, as needed, to assigned students
• Assist in diabetic care management under nurse supervision
• Communicate health needs and interventions clearly to staff and families
