Program Dates: July 2, 2025 – August 8, 2025 (No school on July 4)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:15 AM – 1:45 PM

Job Description:

We are hiring two experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide 1:1 skilled nursing care for students participating in a specialized summer program in Ludlow, Massachusetts. The program serves high school students enrolled in the Compass Program for Autism and Related Disabilities.

Each LPN will be assigned to support one nonverbal, non-ambulatory student requiring high-level medical care including G-tube feeding, water boluses, and seizure monitoring.

This is a great opportunity for LPNs with pediatric or school-based experience who want to work in a structured and supportive educational setting during the summer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct 1:1 nursing care to high school students with significant medical and developmental needs

• Administer G-tube feeds and water boluses

• Monitor for and respond to seizure activity

• Ensure student safety and comfort at all times

• Assist with daily routines and provide general care as needed

• One LPN will accompany a student on the school bus to/from Agawam ( will increase working hours)

Caseload Overview:

• High school students in a specialized Compass Program

• Diagnoses include Autism and seizure disorders

• Students are nonverbal, non-ambulatory, and require full-time skilled LPN support

Qualifications:

• Active LPN license in the state of Massachusetts (required)

• Previous experience with medically fragile students or special education settings preferred

• Comfortable with seizure management and G-tube care

• Reliable, compassionate, and skilled in providing 1:1 nursing services in school settings
