Position Details:

• Contract duration is ongoing through June 11, with workdays scheduled exclusively on Wednesdays.
• Shifts run from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM, with early release days concluding at 12:10 PM.
• The assignment includes select Wednesdays: Sept 16; Oct 7, 21, 28; Nov 11, 18; Dec 9, 16; Jan 6, 13, 27; Feb 3, 10, 24; March 31; April 7, 21, 28; May 12, 19, 26.

Qualifications:

• Active LPN license in Connecticut is required
• BLS/CPR certification (current and valid)
• Professional experience working with children or adolescents in school or healthcare settings (LPN/LVN or CNA background desirable)
• Experience or strong interest in 1:1 care for medically fragile individuals
• Approachable demeanor, strong communication skills, and keen attention to detail
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and composure in a school environment

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care and monitoring for a single student with complex health needs
• Collaborate closely with school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals
• Implement care plans directed by medical providers
• Respond efficiently to health emergencies and routine care requirements
• Accurately document observations, interventions, and student progress
