School-Based Virtual Occupational Therapist (OT) | Alaska

Blazer Jobs is now hiring a qualified Occupational Therapist for a full-time virtual position supporting a school district in Alaska. This role covers district-wide services and includes approximately 1,000 minutes of direct therapy. 

Position Snapshot:

• Role: Virtual School-Based Occupational Therapist

• Location: Alaska (Remote position)

• Hours: Full-time, Monday through Friday

• Coverage: District-wide; 1,000+ minutes of direct student therapy

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual OT sessions aligned with each student’s IEP

• Perform evaluations and provide written reports as required

• Collaborate with educators, special education staff, and families

• Participate in virtual IEP meetings and team consultations

• Maintain thorough documentation of services and student progress

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

• Current Alaska OT license in good standing

• Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)

• A minimum of one year of relevant experience, preferably in a school or pediatric setting

• Competency in using teletherapy tools and digital documentation systems
