What youll bring:

• North Carolina OT license (NCBOT) in good standing
• Post-graduate degree in Occupational Therapy (Masters preferred)
• Previous experience in a school-based setting, including therapy delivery and documentation
• NPI number and registration with NC Tracks, or willingness to obtain prior to start
• Knowledge of DCDEE fingerprinting and successful completion of a district background check
• Proficiency in standardized school OT assessments, particularly the Sensory Processing Measure2 (SPM-2) and Sensory Profile 2
• Strong analytical and communication skills for interpreting and applying assessment data within educational programs
• Ability to adapt to a workload-based caseload, reviewed monthly and discussed in detail during prescreening

Your responsibilities:

• Conduct motor screenings and comprehensive OT evaluations for students ranging from elementary to high school
• Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to each students educational program
• Document interventions, progress, and outcomes in accordance with district and state standards
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multi-disciplinary teams to support student success across various campuses
• Apply knowledge of sensory processing and functional skill development to help students thrive in school environments
