Occupational Therapist School Setting in Bethlehem, PA

A contract opportunity is available for three skilled Occupational Therapists to serve local schools in Carbon and Lehigh Counties for the current and upcoming school years, following the school district calendar.

Key Qualifications:

• Holds an active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy license
• Possesses an Educational Specialist I or II Certificate
• Capable of providing proof of active PA OT licensure and NBCOT number
• Experience working in school-based, pediatric, or special education settings
• Willingness and ability to work onsite in either Carbon or Lehigh County, committing to a school schedule of up to 35 hours per week
• Demonstrates flexibility and comfort in supporting students with varying disabilities and levels of need
• Available for in-person interviews as part of the hiring process

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to a diverse student population in alignment with IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student progress and independence
• Maintain thorough documentation and comply with school district and state regulations
• Adapt activities and interventions to address a range of physical, cognitive, and sensory needs within the school environment
• Attend team meetings and provide professional recommendations for student accommodations
