Key qualifications:

  • Active Alabama Occupational Therapy license/certification (must provide proof).
  • Experience delivering OT services in school environments preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt therapy methods for individual, small group, and push-in service delivery.
  • Commitment to onsite care (remote/voco not available).

Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy to a caseload of 50-60 students (across 4 school locations).
  • Deliver services via individual, small group, and push-in sessions.
  • Follow students IEPs for frequency and duration (30 minutes sessions: weekly, bi-monthly, or monthly).
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams and support classroom integration.
  • Maintain thorough clinical documentation and submit timely progress reports.
  • Work Monday through Friday, 7:45 am 3:45 pm.
