School Occupational Therapist | Carbondale, Pennsylvania

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to early childhood students based on IEPs and individual student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, aides, and families to create supportive learning environments
• Assess, document, and report on student progress
• Provide guidance to staff for implementing recommendations in classroom settings
• Adapt strategies to support developmental and sensory needs
• Maintain compliance with school policies and documentation standards

Preferred Experience & Qualifications:

• Must hold a current Occupational Therapy license in Pennsylvania
• Schools-based OT experience preferred, particularly with early childhood or younger students
• Ability to obtain and maintain PA state clearances
• Skilled at collaborating in educational settings and communicating with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong organizational skills and adaptability in dynamic environments
• Comfortable interviewing via Zoom

Role Details:

• 21 hours per week on site, with a flexible 2-3 day per week schedule
• Start date as soon as possible; contract runs through June 16, 2027
• Opportunity for growth to 5 days per week as needs develop throughout the school year
