Qualifications:

  • Active OT license by the North Carolina Board of Occupational Therapy (NCBOT)
  • Post-graduate degree in Occupational Therapy (Masters preferred)
  • School-based OT experience (NC schools preferred)
  • Proficiency with ECATS & IEPs required
  • Experience administering SPM-2 & Sensory Profile 2 assessments
  • Familiarity with standardized OT assessments in educational settings
  • Must obtain NPI number & register with NC Tracks before starting
  • Required: DCDEE fingerprinting and district background check

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct motor screenings and occupational therapy evaluations for a diverse student population
  • Interpret assessment results within the school-based context
  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services as outlined in students IEPs
  • Accurately document services and collaborate with education staff
  • Adhere to the district's monthly therapist workload reassessment
