Join Our Team! Part-Time Occupational Therapist (OT)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapists (OT) to join our team within a school-based setting. The ideal candidates will have experience working with children in educational environments and a passion for supporting their developmental and academic success. This is a full-time, onsite position.
Summer Dates: July 8–31, 2024

• Summer: Tues/Wed/Thurs | 8:00 AM–11:00 AM

Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to students within the school-based Early Intervention Program.

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills.

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students' educational goals and individualized education plans (IEPs).

• Provide direct therapy services and consultative support to ensure students' access to the curriculum.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, progress reports, and IEP compliance.

Requirements:

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license. 

• Experience working with children in a school-based or pediatric setting.

• Knowledge of IEP processes and special education regulations (preferred).

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, families, and school staff.

• Ability to work onsite, for the duration of the assignment.

• CPR/BLS certification (preferred).
