Full-Time Occupational Therapist Opportunity – Chehalis, WA
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Occupational Therapists for a full-time position within a dedicated school district in the Chehalis, Washington area. This role offers the chance to support student development in an educational setting that values collaboration and innovation.
Minimum Qualifications – Washington State Requirements:
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following:
Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
Possess an active Washington State Occupational Therapy License issued by the Washington State Department of Health
Have professional experience as an Occupational Therapist, ideally in a school-based or pediatric setting
Meet all local and state compliance requirements including:
Fingerprinting and successful completion of a criminal background check through the Washington State Patrol and FBI
Valid authorization to work in the United States
Compliance with Washington’s mandated training for school-based professionals
Applicants who do not meet the listed requirements will not be considered.
Typical Responsibilities:
Assess students’ motor skills, sensory integration, and functional capabilities
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in coordination with IEP teams
Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
Consult with educators and families to support student success in the classroom
Maintain detailed records and progress reports for compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
Adapt learning materials and strategies to support diverse student needs
