Full-Time Occupational Therapist Opportunity – Chehalis, WA

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Occupational Therapists for a full-time position within a dedicated school district in the Chehalis, Washington area. This role offers the chance to support student development in an educational setting that values collaboration and innovation.

Minimum Qualifications – Washington State Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following:

• Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution

• Possess an active Washington State Occupational Therapy License issued by the Washington State Department of Health

• Have professional experience as an Occupational Therapist, ideally in a school-based or pediatric setting

• Meet all local and state compliance requirements including:

  • Fingerprinting and successful completion of a criminal background check through the Washington State Patrol and FBI

  • Valid authorization to work in the United States

  • Compliance with Washington’s mandated training for school-based professionals

Applicants who do not meet the listed requirements will not be considered.

Typical Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ motor skills, sensory integration, and functional capabilities

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in coordination with IEP teams

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs

• Consult with educators and families to support student success in the classroom

• Maintain detailed records and progress reports for compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines

• Adapt learning materials and strategies to support diverse student needs
