School Occupational Therapist | Chesterfield, Missouri

Bring your expertise in occupational therapy to support students success in an educational setting! A contract opportunity is available for a dedicated OT professional to work within a collaborative school-based environment near Chesterfield, MO. This full-time role runs from ASAP through approximately May 28, 2027, with a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours each week.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid and current Occupational Therapist licensure
• Prior experience supporting children or adolescents in school settings strongly preferred
• Ability to assess and implement individualized therapy interventions
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Proficient in collaborating with teachers, parents, and other specialists
• Flexibility and constructive problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students in alignment with their IEP goals
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and determine appropriate interventions
• Foster students independence in fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills
• Maintain accurate documentation of sessions and progress notes
• Coordinate with educational staff and families to develop effective support strategies
• Contribute to IEP meetings and ongoing student assessments
