Location: Covington, GA – K-12 Caseload

Hours: Full-Time, 37.5 hours/week
Caseload: K-12 Students
Setting: Onsite

Job Details:
We are seeking a passionate and qualified School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a dedicated educational team in Covington, GA for the 2025–2026 school year. This full-time position will involve working with a K-12 caseload of students, providing both direct and indirect occupational therapy services to support students' developmental, sensory, motor, and academic needs.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across grade levels and collaborating with teachers, paraprofessionals, and parents to ensure the success of all students.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting occupational therapy evaluations and assessments for K-12 students

• Developing and implementing IEP goals and individualized therapy plans

• Providing direct therapy services focusing on fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-regulation, and school participation

• Supporting students with a variety of needs, including physical disabilities, sensory processing disorders, and developmental delays

• Collaborating with school staff to modify classroom environments and materials to support student needs

• Documenting student progress and maintaining accurate therapy records

• Attending IEP meetings and contributing to team discussions regarding student progress and needs

Required Qualifications:

• Active Georgia Occupational Therapist License

• Previous experience in a school-based setting or with a K-12 caseload is preferred

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills

• Compassionate and student-centered approach to therapy
