Step into a meaningful contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist working with dedicated 5th and 6th grade students. A part-time schedule is available with a caseload of just two students, each receiving 30 minutes of direct OT services weekly, starting ideally at 2:30 PM. Services will continue through May 22, 2026.

Your expertise will be integral to helping students thrive in their educational environment. The role centers on providing targeted OT services in alignment with IEP requirements, designed to promote independence and participation in daily activities. You will work closely with teachers and special education staff, offering recommendations for accommodations and strategies tailored to each childs unique needs.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Georgia Occupational Therapist license and current GaPSC certification (both required)
• Prior school-based experience is encouraged
• Experience supporting students with disabilities is a plus
• Ability to provide in-person, onsite services
• Clearance documentation must be provided

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver 30 minutes of weekly OT to each student as specified in their IEP
• Conduct assessments and address needs in fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities
• Collaborate with educational staff to promote student success
• Recommend classroom modifications and strategies to enhance learning access
• Maintain thorough documentation and monitor student progress
• Adhere to all regulatory and IEP guidelines
