Occupational Therapist School Setting in Denver, CO

Starting November 1st and continuing through May 21, 2027, youll support students at Littleton Prep Academy three days per week, helping them grow in confidence and capability within the school setting.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in Colorado, or eligibility for licensure by assignment start
• Current CDE (Colorado Department of Education) credential, or verifiable proof of application submitted
• Previous experience working in a school-based setting highly desired
• Skilled in providing creative, student-centered interventions for a range of needs
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities with multidisciplinary teams
• Passion for fostering independence and functional skills within the education environment

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students with varying needs per IEP specifications
• Conduct evaluations and devise individualized therapy plans
• Maintain clear, comprehensive documentation in compliance with state and school guidelines
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to monitor student progress and adjust interventions
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and provide professional input for educational planning
• Advocate for student participation and success in classroom and school activities
