Key Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapist license in Louisiana required
• Previous experience delivering OT services in a school-based setting preferred
• Comfortable working with a diverse student population from PreK to high school
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Willingness to supervise an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Ability to travel between multiple sites as needed

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students across four local schools
• Complete PreK evaluations each Friday in addition to regular service delivery
• Provide therapy sessions primarily on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
• Supervise and mentor a COTA, ensuring compliance with state and professional standards
• Collaborate with educators, special education staff, and parents to create and implement individualized plans
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes for all students on the caseload
