Occupational Therapist School Setting in Florissant, MO

Make a difference each day by providing essential occupational therapy services to students in a supportive school environment. This contract opportunity runs from ASAP through approximately late January 2027 and offers the unique chance to serve two different districts as needs arise. Initially, youll assist students in Hazelwood, before transitioning to provide FMLA leave coverage in Normandy. Your success will directly support the well-being and development of young learners.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Current, active Occupational Therapist license in Missouri (MO OT).
• Prior experience delivering OT services in school-based settings is highly valued.
• Comfortable adapting to varied school environments and working with a diverse student population (age groups may vary depending on assignment).
• Skilled in collaborating with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement IEP/504 plans.
• Ability to meet district credentialing needs, including fingerprinting and submission of technology compliance documentation.
• Ready to provide on-site services across multiple locations as assigned.

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy services according to students IEPs or evaluation results.
• Conduct assessments and contribute to multidisciplinary team recommendations.
• Monitor progress and maintain timely documentation.
• Educate teachers and families on strategies to improve student outcomes.
• Ensure adherence to school district policies and state regulations.
