School Occupational Therapist - Grambling, Louisiana

Step into a rewarding contract role providing essential Occupational Therapy services for students across multiple school sites in the Arcadia, LA area. This onsite role offers the chance to make a real impact on student well-being and educational success.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will work part-time (20-25 hours per week) from now through May 21, 2027. Youll serve four diverse school locations, delivering therapy support that addresses student needs in both academic and developmental settings. The weekly schedule includes providing services on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with Fridays dedicated to PreK evaluations. Supervision of a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is also expected as part of your responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Active Louisiana Occupational Therapy license
• Experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Willingness and ability to supervise a COTA
• Capability to travel between school sites
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct OT services to students across four school campuses
• Conduct PreK assessments on designated days
• Supervise and support the work and development of a COTA
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all therapy sessions
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams for optimal student outcomes
