An outstanding opportunity awaits an Occupational Therapist seeking a fulfilling contract role supporting students during a maternity leave coverage. Work with a diverse caseload across two elementary schools in a vibrant community, helping students reach their fullest potential in an engaging educational environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina Occupational Therapist license
• Background in school-based OT or pediatric settings strongly preferred
• Understanding of IEP processes and experience collaborating with educational teams
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Flexible, compassionate, and creative in designing interventions
• Ability to independently manage a full-time caseload of approximately 60 students

Responsibilities Include:

• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services for students in accordance with IEP goals
• Provide intervention, assessment, and ongoing progress monitoring for students with varying abilities
• Develop and implement student-centered treatment plans using evidence-based strategies
• Collaborate regularly with teachers, families, and school staff to support student participation in their educational program
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
• Maintain clear, timely documentation adhering to school and district policies
• Assist with transition planning as needed during the assignment period
