School Occupational Therapist - Hazelwood, Missouri

Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current Occupational Therapist license for the state
• Registration with NBCOT
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

What Youll Do:

• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students as outlined in Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Assess students functional levels, develop goals, and monitor progress
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to create supportive strategies and accommodations
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all school and state requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based planning
• Educate school staff and families on best practices to support students success in both academic and social environments
