Occupational Therapist School Setting - Homer, LA

What you'll bring:

• Active Occupational Therapy license in Louisiana
• Previous experience with school-based OT services
• Ability to conduct reevaluations across multiple grade levels
• Competence in PreK evaluations (Fridays)
• Familiarity with IEP development and documentation
• Effective virtual communication skills
• Experience supervising a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is a plus

Your day-to-day responsibilities:

• Deliver virtual OT services for reevals and PreK assessments
• Dedicate at least one day per week to complete IEPs and related paperwork
• Supervise a COTA and provide guidance to ensure high-quality care
• Collaborate with educational teams to support student success
• Manage documentation in a timely and organized manner
• Communicate effectively with families and staff to maximize therapy impact

This position is completely remote, offering you the flexibility to balance your schedule and work environment. Following the completion of the initial contract, a unique opportunity exists to continue providing COTA supervision on a fee basis.
