Key Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license
• Experience or strong interest in working within school settings, especially with preschool populations
• Skilled in conducting screenings, assessments, and delivering direct and consultative OT services
• Familiarity with special education processes, including participation on evaluation and IEP teams
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative OT services for the special education preschool caseload
• Conduct screenings and assessments as part of the evaluation process
• Serve as a collaborative member of IEP and other multidisciplinary teams
• Contribute strategies for classroom adaptation and functional skill building
• Maintain accurate documentation for all services delivered
• Communicate progress and recommendations effectively to staff and families

Key Details:

• Part-time schedule: 3 days per week (preferred schedule is Tuesday-Thursday; possible flexibility for Monday-Wednesday)
• Hours are 8:15am to 3:45pm
• Assignment continues until the district fills the position permanently, with the potential for increased hours based on school needs
