Blazer Jobs is partnering with school districts across Pennsylvania to hire licensed and dedicated Occupational Therapists (OTs) for the 2025–2026 academic year. If you're passionate about helping students succeed in the classroom and beyond, this opportunity allows you to apply your clinical skills in a collaborative educational setting.
As a school-based OT in Pennsylvania, you will work directly with students to improve their functional abilities related to school participation—focusing on motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and daily classroom tasks. Your work will contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and help students reach greater independence and academic success.
Vacancies are currently available in districts including Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Allentown, Erie, Harrisburg, and other surrounding areas.
Perform evaluations to assess students’ fine motor, sensory, and functional needs in compliance with Pennsylvania Department of Education standards
Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with students’ IEPs or 504 Plans
Provide direct and consultative services to students individually or in small groups
Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support student progress
Document sessions, maintain progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings
Adapt interventions and materials to meet student goals and classroom expectations
Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
Current Pennsylvania OT license or eligibility to obtain one by the start of the school year
Experience with pediatric or school-based OT services preferred
Understanding of IEP documentation and school therapy best practices
Must complete all required Pennsylvania clearances and background checks
Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities available
Contract duration: August 2025 – June 2026
