Blazer Jobs is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist for a full-time opportunity within school districts in the Kent, Washington area. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about making a difference in the educational development of children and youth. Immediate interviews are being scheduled for qualified candidates.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide school-based occupational therapy services to students with a range of physical, emotional, and developmental needs.

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals.

  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to support student progress and participation in educational activities.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and required reports.

  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals and accommodations.

  • Provide training and support to school staff on strategies to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities.

Qualifications:

Applicants must meet the following local and state requirements for occupational therapy practice in Washington:

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

  • Valid Washington State Occupational Therapist License issued by the Washington State Department of Health.

  • Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).

  • Compliance with Washington state fingerprint and background check requirements.

  • Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is strongly preferred.

Employment Type:

  • Full-Time

  • Contract position with the potential for renewal based on performance for the following school year.
