School Occupational Therapist | Lavaca, Arkansas

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by using your expertise to support elementary learners as a full-time Occupational Therapist. This contract opportunity runs from ASAP through May 21, 2027, providing direct OT services at three welcoming elementary schools. Your work will enable students to reach their fullest potential and access the curriculum with confidence.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Hold an active Occupational Therapist license
• Previous experience supporting school-based pediatric populations preferred
• Strong IEP participation skills (assessment, documentation, collaboration)
• Comfortable with managing a caseload of approximately 35 students
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver weekly direct OT services to students (about 30 minutes per week per student)
• Maintain approximately 18 direct service hours, with additional time for documentation and collaboration
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations to support student goals
• Implement individualized therapy plans within the educational setting
• Travel between Morrison, Tilles, and Howard elementary campuses as needed
• Maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with school and state regulations
