A dedicated occupational therapist is needed to serve a caseload of 26 students, collaborating with caring educators and families to promote each childs independence and success in learning.

This full-time contract opportunity spans several schools, providing a rich, engaging experience in a diverse educational environment. Youll have the chance to draw on your expertise while making a tangible impact, guiding students through activities and interventions designed to foster their confidence, fine-motor skills, and engagement in the classroom.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Maryland OT License required
  • Experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred
  • Strong communication skills and adaptability working across multiple campuses
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educational staff, administration, and families
  • Passion for supporting elementary students with diverse developmental needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students occupational therapy needs and write individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver direct therapy services for an elementary caseload of 26 students
  • Monitor, document, and communicate student progress toward IEP goals
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student participation
  • Provide recommendations for classroom modifications and adaptive equipment as needed
  • Travel between Great Mills High School, Spring Ridge Middle, and several elementary schools included in the assignment
