Occupational Therapist (OT)

Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced Occupational Therapists (OTs) for a full-time, school-based position in the Lillington, NC area. We are seeking dedicated professionals who are passionate about helping students thrive in their educational environments through the development of functional and adaptive skills.

Position Overview:

• Location: Lillington, NC and surrounding school districts

• Job Type: Full-Time

• Schedule: Follows the academic school calendar

• Contract Renewal: Based on performance for the upcoming school year

Qualifications:

Applicants must meet all local and state requirements, including:

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

• Current North Carolina Occupational Therapist License issued by the State

• Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening as required by the school district

• Previous school-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students’ motor and functional abilities and determine eligibility for OT services

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams

• Provide direct and consultative OT services to students

• Support students in developing skills for academic success, including fine motor coordination, sensory integration, and adaptive behavior

• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports

• Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and school staff

• Participate in IEP meetings and district professional development as required
