Occupational Therapist – Full-Time
Location: Lillington, NC
Hours: Full-Time, 37.5 hours/week
Setting: Onsite

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced and dedicated Occupational Therapists for full-time positions within partnering school districts in the Lillington, NC area. We are seeking professionals who are passionate about improving students’ communication skills and making a lasting impact in school-based settings.
  
Details: 

  • Location: Lillington, NC
  • Full Time: 37.5 hours per week
  • Caseload: Elementary including Pre-K caseload, conducting testing and evaluations. The district likes to discuss more details at the time of interview to see the best fit based on experience, including age group.

To be considered, applicants must meet all local and state requirements for practicing as a school-based Occupational Therapist in North Carolina, including:
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current, valid North Carolina Occupational Therapy License issued by the North Carolina Board of Occupational Therapy (NCBOT)
  • Registration with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
  • Compliance with school district background check and fingerprinting policies
  • Previous pediatric or school-based experience is preferred

Responsibilities:
  • Conducts evaluations and assessments to determine students’ functional needs within the school environment
  • Develops and implements Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals related to fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living tasks
  • Delivers direct and consultative therapy services to students in individual or group settings
  • Collaborates with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Monitors and documents of student progress toward therapy goals
  • Assists with adaptive equipment recommendations and classroom modifications
  • Ensures services are delivered in compliance with IDEA and other applicable regulations
