Full-Time Occupational Therapist – Lillington, NC
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Occupational Therapists for a full-time position with school districts in the Lillington, NC area. We are looking for compassionate and skilled professionals committed to supporting student growth and independence through occupational therapy services in educational settings.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must meet all of the following requirements to be considered for this role:
Hold a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
Maintain an active North Carolina Occupational Therapy License issued by the North Carolina Board of Occupational Therapy (NCBOT)
Hold current certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
Meet all school district and state-level background check and credentialing requirements
Have verified experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a school or pediatric setting
Note: Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered for the position.
Typical Responsibilities
The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for:
Assessing students’ motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities
Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans (IEPs/504s)
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and support staff to support student success
Providing direct therapy services in both group and individual settings
Supporting classroom accommodations and adaptive equipment recommendations
Documenting student progress and maintaining compliance with IEP timelines
