Traveling COTA – K–12 School-Based Positions Nationwide | Full-Time Opportunities

Blazer Works is actively seeking Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) for full-time, traveling school-based placements across various states, including immediate openings in New York, California, Texas, and Wisconsin. This is an excellent opportunity for COTAs who are eager to work in K–12 educational settings, assisting students with fine motor, sensory, and coordination challenges across all grade levels.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in evaluating and supporting students’ fine motor, sensory processing, and coordination needs

  • Implement therapy plans developed by supervising Occupational Therapists, aligned with IEP goals

  • Deliver engaging and goal-driven therapy sessions for K–12 students

  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure student progress and success

  • Maintain accurate documentation and actively contribute to IEP meetings and planning


Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy

  • Valid COTA certification

  • Active or pending licensure in the appropriate state

  • Must clear background checks

  • Preferred: Experience working in educational settings or with children


Compensation & Benefits:
