School Occupational Therapist - Lusby, Maryland

This full-time position is based at the district office and focuses on a caseload of infants and toddlers, providing vital therapy in a collaborative, educational environment. Key Qualifications:

• Valid Maryland Occupational Therapy license required
• Experience providing occupational therapy in a school setting, specifically with early childhood populations such as infants and toddlers
• Understanding of IEP/IFSP processes, pediatric milestones, and family-centered care principles
• Strong organizational and documentation abilities
• Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans for each child on your caseload, addressing developmental and sensory-motor needs
• Deliver direct therapy sessions in coordination with educators, families, and other service providers
• Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to ensure integrated, child-centered support
• Maintain detailed progress documentation and contribute to IFSP and goal tracking
• Guide and educate caregivers to facilitate skill development in daily routines
• Adapt strategies and materials as needed to best serve each unique learner
