Occupational Therapist School Setting in Marietta, GA

Key Qualifications:

• Must hold an active Georgia OT license and GaPSC certification (both required)
• Preferred background in school-based occupational therapy
• Previous experience supporting students with disabilities is a plus
• All necessary clearance documentation must be provided
• Ability and commitment to deliver onsite services only

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver 30 minutes weekly of individualized, direct OT services per student in alignment with IEP guidelines
• Complete comprehensive assessments of each students fine motor, sensory, and functional skills within the school context
• Develop and recommend classroom modifications and strategies, collaborating with educators and special education staff to enhance instruction and participation
• Track progress, manage and maintain student documentation, and adjust service plans as needed
• Attend team meetings and actively communicate with staff around each students needs and growth
• Ensure strict adherence to all IEP and regulatory requirements
