Job Summary:
Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced and qualified Occupational Therapists for a full-time, school-based contract role in Medina, NY for the 2025–2026 school year. This opportunity includes working closely with students, educators, and families to support student success in educational settings.

Typical Job Duties:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’ eligibility for occupational therapy services

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and therapy plans

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students

• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support classroom participation

• Support students in developing fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and adaptive behaviors

• Monitor and document student progress and maintain detailed records

• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team decisions regarding student services

• Recommend assistive devices or adaptive equipment as needed

• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to therapy services

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with special education students and their families

• Familiarity with school-based therapy and IEP processes

• Licensed and certified as required by New York State for occupational therapy in a school setting
