K-2nd Grade Occupational Therapist Job

Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time, school-based position working with K–2nd grade students in Mundelein, IL. This opportunity is ideal for a therapist with a passion for early childhood development and a desire to support young learners in their foundational years.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative OT services for students in grades K–2

• Conduct screenings and assessments for motor development, sensory processing, and daily living skills

• Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with teachers and support staff

• Maintain documentation and progress reports in accordance with state and district regulations

• Attend IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy

• Active Illinois OT License through IDFPR

• NBCOT certification

• Professional Educator License (PEL) with OT endorsement preferred

• At least 1 year of pediatric or school-based experience

• Strong knowledge of IDEA and IEP procedures
