Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time, school-based position working with K–2nd grade students in Mundelein, IL. This opportunity is ideal for a therapist with a passion for early childhood development and a desire to support young learners in their foundational years.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative OT services for students in grades K–2
Conduct screenings and assessments for motor development, sensory processing, and daily living skills
Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with teachers and support staff
Maintain documentation and progress reports in accordance with state and district regulations
Attend IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations
Qualifications:
Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
Active Illinois OT License through IDFPR
NBCOT certification
Professional Educator License (PEL) with OT endorsement preferred
At least 1 year of pediatric or school-based experience
Strong knowledge of IDEA and IEP procedures
