Blazer Jobs is currently conducting interviews for a qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to fill a full-time position within a school district in the Mundelein, Illinois area. Position Overview:

• Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT)

• Location: Mundelein, IL

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ needs for occupational therapy services.

• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s IEP goals.

• Support students in developing fine motor skills, self-care abilities, and classroom participation.

• Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers.

• Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and IEP reporting.

• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal planning and service recommendations.

• Provide consultation and training to staff to support student access to the curriculum.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Candidates must meet the following local and state criteria:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

• Current and valid Illinois Occupational Therapist license issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR).

• Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate endorsement required for school-based practice.

• Previous experience in a school setting preferred but not required.

• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
