Job Overview – What You’ll Do:

• Provide school-based occupational therapy services to K–12 students with physical, sensory, and cognitive needs

• Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with each student’s goals

• Deliver targeted interventions to support fine motor development, sensory integration, and daily living skills

• Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to integrate therapy into the educational environment

• Document student progress and adjust plans accordingly

• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a collaborative, student-centered support team

Qualifications & Certifications (Florida Requirements):

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy

• Active Florida licensure through the Florida Board of Occupational Therapy

• National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)

• Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred

• Strong communication, time management, and teamwork skills
