Occupational Therapists Wanted for Colorado School Districts – 2025–2026 School Year – Partner with Blazer Jobs

Blazer Jobs is collaborating with school districts across Colorado to hire dedicated Occupational Therapists (OTs) for the upcoming 2025–2026 academic year. If you’re passionate about helping students develop essential skills for school participation and daily living, this role is a great fit.

Position Summary
In this role, you will assess, plan, and deliver occupational therapy services that enable students to succeed academically and functionally. Working alongside educators and families, you’ll address fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care challenges to support each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.

We have openings in districts statewide, including in Denver, Colorado Springs, Aurora, Boulder, Fort Collins, Pueblo, and Greeley.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and participate in eligibility decisions

• Develop and implement tailored intervention plans based on IEP objectives

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions within diverse educational settings

• Document student progress and maintain compliance with Colorado Department of Education (CDE) policies

• Collaborate regularly with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

• Recommend accommodations and assistive technology to improve student access and engagement

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy

• Valid Colorado OT license issued by the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA)

• Knowledge of IDEA and school-based therapy service delivery models

• Experience in pediatric or school settings preferred

• Ability to complete necessary background checks and fingerprinting per Colorado school district requirements

• Full-time and part-time positions available

• Contract period: August 2025 to June 2026

• W-2 employment through Blazer Jobs with recruiter support throughout your placement
