Phoenix, AZ - Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) - Upcoming School Year

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Occupational Therapists for full-time positions supporting school districts in the Phoenix, Arizona area for the upcoming 2025 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to provide virtual therapy services to students and be part of a collaborative, student-focused team.
  
Details: 

• Location: Phoenix, AZ
• Full Time: 35 hours per week
• Caseload: High school caseload, conducting testing and evaluations. The district likes to discuss more details at the time of interview to see the best fit based on experience, including age group.

Applicants must meet all state and local requirements:

• Active Arizona Occupational Therapist license issued by the Arizona Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS)
• Compliance with any additional district-specific onboarding or certification requirements
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments of students' fine motor, sensory, and functional skills
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals related to occupational therapy
• Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students in various educational settings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success
• Maintain accurate records, data, and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and team conferences as needed
