School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) – Greater Dallas-Fort Worth Area, TX

We are seeking a dedicated School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in the Greater Dallas-Fort Worth area. This full-time, on-site role focuses on supporting students with diverse needs, helping them develop essential skills for success in the classroom and daily activities.

Position Details:

• Location: Schools across the Greater DFW area 
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, school hours (typically 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM, based on district needs)
• Start Date: Immediate openings or per the school calendar
• Duration: Full academic year with potential renewal

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students with various needs, including fine motor delays, sensory processing challenges, and physical disabilities
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine eligibility and therapy goals
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy strategies into the school setting
• Utilize adaptive equipment and assistive technology to enhance student independence
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal special education guidelines

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Texas OT License (or eligibility to obtain)
• Preferred experience in school-based or pediatric therapy
• Strong understanding of IEP development, special education laws, and best therapy practices
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
