A rewarding opportunity awaits a dedicated Occupational Therapist to support students from kindergarten through age 26 during the 2026-2027 academic year. This on-site, full-time position is based near Pontiac, MI and runs from August 24, 2026, through June 10, 2027, offering 35 hours per week in a dynamic school environment.

Ideal candidates are passionate about making a positive impact and have hands-on experience in school-based occupational therapy. Your expertise will help students overcome challenges, improve functional skills, and participate fully in their educational setting.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active and valid Michigan Occupational Therapy license (please provide a screenshot confirming licensure upon application)
  • Proven background in school settings, directly serving K-26 population
  • Strong understanding of pediatric and adolescent OT assessments and interventions
  • Ability to work independently on-site (remote work not available for this opportunity)
  • Must be a licensed OT (no COTAs, please)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students needs
  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services to support academic achievement and life skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to integrate therapy goals into classroom routines
  • Monitor and document student progress, adapting interventions as necessary to maximize student outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
  • Advocate for students and provide resources or training to caregivers and educators when needed
