Arizona School Districts Hiring Occupational Therapists for the 2025–2026 School Year – Work with Blazer Jobs

Blazer Jobs is actively partnering with public school districts throughout Arizona to recruit qualified Occupational Therapists (OTs) for the 2025–2026 academic year. This is a meaningful opportunity to help students build the foundational skills they need to thrive in both academic and functional settings.

About the Position
As a school-based OT, you will support K–12 students by evaluating motor, sensory, and self-help skills and delivering targeted interventions that promote independence and participation in the school environment. You’ll work closely with teachers, special educators, and parents to align services with student needs and educational goals.

We are hiring for positions in districts across the state, including Phoenix, Tucson, Mesa, Chandler, Scottsdale, Glendale, Tempe, and surrounding communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and contribute to eligibility decisions for special education services

• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with student IEPs

• Deliver direct, consultative, and classroom-embedded occupational therapy services

• Track student performance and document progress according to Arizona Department of Education (ADE) standards

• Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary planning, and staff consultations

• Recommend assistive tools, modifications, or strategies that improve student access to curriculum

• Ensure services are compliant with IDEA and Arizona public school policies

Required Credentials

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy

• Current licensure through the Arizona Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners

• Familiarity with IEP writing, goal development, and data tracking

• Prior experience in school-based or pediatric therapy preferred

• Ability to pass Arizona fingerprint clearance and district onboarding procedures

Position Details

• Multiple roles available: full-time and part-time

• School year contracts run August 2025 to June 2026

• W-2 employment through Blazer Jobs
