Part-Time Contract School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) - Boston, MA
We are seeking a highly responsive and experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a supportive school district in Boston, MA, for the 2025-2026 school year. This is a fantastic part-time opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of K-8 students across two schools.
Location: Boston, MA Discipline: Occupational Therapy (OT) Dates: August 2025 – June 2026 Hours: Part-Time (1-2 days per week) Caseload/Details:
- One (1) Occupational Therapist needed
- Serving two (2) schools with K-8 caseloads
Job Duties May Include:
- Conducting comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and assessments for students.
- Developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) to address students' fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing, visual-perceptual, and self-care needs.
- Providing direct and indirect occupational therapy services in individual and group settings.
- Collaborating effectively with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to integrate therapy goals into the school environment.
- Monitoring student progress, maintaining accurate documentation, and participating in IEP meetings.
- Providing consultation and training to school staff regarding sensory diets, adaptive equipment, and strategies to support student participation in school activities.
Special Requirements:
- Active professional Occupational Therapist (OT) license is required.
- Must have school-based experience.

Compensation: The average hourly rate for a contract licensed school-based professional in Boston, MA, for an Occupational Therapist is approximately $45-$58 based on experience.
