An exciting opportunity awaits experienced Occupational Therapists seeking a full-time, onsite contract role supporting students at Piedmont Hills School and McCollam Center, located near Redwood City, CA. This assignment begins immediately and continues through June 11, offering the chance to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and families within a vibrant educational community.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current California Occupational Therapist license, or eligibility for licensure as per the California Occupational Therapy Practice Act
  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience in pediatric therapy, especially with developmental disabilities
  • Prior work in school or educational settings strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and families
  • Strong communication and documentation abilities
  • Commitment to onsite servicesremote or hybrid options are not available

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring specifically for school-aged children
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting developmental goals and independence in school activities
  • Collaborate with teachers, educational staff, and families to promote student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings, provide input for educational planning, and support broader team objectives
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with all state and district documentation standards
  • Serve as an accessible resource for classroom adaptations and parent/caregiver guidance

This is a full-time position (approximately 37.5 hours per week) embedded within a supportive educational environment where your expertise will be highly valued.
