Occupational Therapist School Setting in Rice, MN

Make a direct impact on students success and daily school participation by supporting learners across grade levels as a school-based Occupational Therapist. In this rewarding contract role for the 2024-2025 school year, youll serve students from kindergarten through 12th grade, helping them develop the fine motor, sensory, and cognitive skills they need to thrive in the classroom.

Youll work with a dedicated education team, collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and fellow specialists to create and implement individualized therapy plans. This position offers 33 hours per week and is stationed in the Little Falls area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and treat students with physical, sensory, or cognitive disabilities that impact school success
• Develop and deliver tailored occupational therapy interventions to meet student IEP goals
• Conduct thorough evaluations and maintain accurate documentation of progress and outcomes
• Provide training and guidance to teachers and staff to ensure classroom accommodations are effectively implemented
• Foster positive relationships with students, families, and the broader school team

Desired Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current and valid Occupational Therapist license
• Active state licensure/certification
• Experience working in educational or school-based settings
