Step into a vital role supporting student success as a virtual Occupational Therapist in a dynamic educational setting. Youll play an integral part in helping students reach their full potential through expert evaluations, targeted interventions, and team collaborationall from the comfort of your chosen workspace.

This part-time, short-term contract is ideal for specialists who thrive on flexibility and variety. Youll primarily conduct reevaluations across multiple grade levels, provide PreK evaluations on Fridays, dedicate at least one day per week to completing IEP documentation, and offer supervisory support for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). After the initial contract period, continued COTA supervision may be available on a flexible, as-needed basis.

What were looking for:

• Active Occupational Therapy license for the state of Louisiana
• Experience in school-based OT practice, particularly virtual/remote service delivery
• Strong knowledge of IEP processes and documentation
• Comfort working independently and collaborating cross-functionally with multidisciplinary teams
• Expertise supervising and mentoring COTAs
• Excellent communication skills and tech-savvy with virtual platforms

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive OT reevaluations for students at various grade levels
• Conduct PreK assessments and evaluations, typically on Fridays
• Complete all necessary IEP documentation in a timely manner
• Provide ongoing supervision and guidance to a COTA
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and family members to ensure integrated care
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations as well as district policies
