Blazer Jobs is currently seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a full-time, school-based contract position in San Antonio, Texas. Position Overview:

• Location: San Antonio, TX

• Setting: K–12 public school environment

• Duration: Full school year with potential renewal based on performance

Minimum Requirements:

• Must hold a valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of Texas

• Must meet all state and local regulations for school-based therapy services

• Strong preference for candidates with experience working with special education students and their families

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Typical Job Duties:

• Conduct student assessments to identify strengths and areas of need

• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans in accordance with IEPs

• Provide direct services to students in both individual and group settings

• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student success

• Maintain detailed documentation of services provided and student progress

• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational strategies

• Train and advise school personnel and caregivers on strategies to reinforce therapy goals
