In this role, you will support students with physical, sensory, or cognitive challenges that affect their ability to fully participate in school routines and academic tasks. You'll assess student needs, develop and implement individualized therapy plans, collaborate with IEP teams, and provide both direct and consultative services. Whether you're helping a child with fine motor development or teaching adaptive strategies for daily routines, your work will foster independence and inclusion for every student you serve.
To qualify for this role in California, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Current California OT License issued by the California Board of Occupational Therapy (CBOT)
NBCOT Certification
Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
Must pass all district-required background and fingerprinting processes
