Occupational Therapist School Setting in Scranton, PA

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Holds an active Occupational Therapy license in Pennsylvania
• Able to readily provide or obtain required PA clearances
• Demonstrated experience working with young children, ideally in early childhood education or school environments
• Previous school-based occupational therapy experience is strongly preferred
• Comfortable delivering therapy and collaborating with a diverse team of educators and specialists
• Ready to start as soon as possible and available through June 16, 2027
• Onsite service delivery required; must be able to commute to assigned locations
• Open to a Zoom interview during the selection process

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and group occupational therapy services to early childhood students
• Develop and implement therapy plans to address the developmental, sensory, and academic needs of young learners
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student success in the classroom
• Document progress and maintain compliance with district and regulatory requirements
• Participate in meetings, contribute to IEPs, and offer professional support to school teams
• Adapt to a schedule of 21 hours per week, spread over 2-3 days, with the potential for increased hours up to 5 days per week as program needs evolve
